I am a visual and
performing artist born in Philadelphia, U.S.A. May 13th, 1958. My
paintings show contemporary expressions of life and culture.
Traditional cultural forms appear in music, speech, movement, dress,
and hair, religion an art. Together they shape styles and manners that
we have carried with us for generations, despite all the diverse
influences in life. My paintings are a tribute to the presence of music
in the experience of life. The intensity comes from how life presents
itself in different choruses and how music serves as a form of
communication in the visual arts. In working together there is barely a
fine line of separation between how, music interprets life and how life
interprets music. In essence life and music support one another.
